Situated in the beautiful countryside of rural Leicestershire, Lavender Cottage
Antiques offers a collection of lovingly restored original Old English and
Irish country pine furniture. Each individual item of furniture is painstakingly restored in our own workshop
to retain its own distinct character & history.

We retain, wherever possible original hinges, handles, knobs etc. We are
careful not to over restore and regard the odd blemish or bit of old worm
as being part of the charm & history of each piece.
Following restoration, each piece of furniture is handwaxed and buffed to
give a mellow, quality finish.

We offer a range of dressers, tables, chests of drawers, pine boxes, wardrobes,
bookshelves
and other items of antique pine furniture, all carefully chosen to offer
something a little bit different from the range usually on offer.
Most of our furniture is from the Georgian or Victorian periods, and Old
English or Irish Pine.
